On the morning of November 22, a case of violent medical injury occurred in the Peace Hospital affiliated to Changzhi Medical College. Doctor Shen Wen was attacked by Peng Moumou with a knife during the consultation and was seriously injured. After the incident, Changzhi police quickly launched an investigation. The criminal suspect Peng Moumou surrendered to the police station of Yingxiong South Road, the urban branch of Changzhi Public Security Bureau, and was placed on file for investigation on suspicion of intentional homicide.

　　At 10 o’clock on the morning of November 22, a female doctor of Heping Hospital affiliated to Changzhi Medical College in Shanxi Province was suddenly attacked by a man with a knife during the consultation, and the victim was injured by nine knives. The perpetrator Peng Moumou, male, aged 36, was from Nanliu Village, Danzhu Town, Zhangzi County. After committing the crime at 10 am, Peng Moumou fled the scene and surrendered himself at 11 am. After investigation by the hospital, Peng’s daughter (4 years old) was hospitalized in the infectious diseases department of the hospital because of hand, foot and mouth disease, and had a dispute with the doctor because she did not agree with the doctor’s treatment.
