His two daughters Feng Xuemei and Feng Xiaoyan also survived, but his wife failed to escape, and his home was razed to the ground by the earthquake.

　　On the evening of May 16, 2008, our reporter Ju Zhiqin met Feng Bangwu’s family in the disaster area. Feng Xuemei, who was studying in the ruins, made him "very moved and shocked" and formed an indissoluble bond with the two sisters, becoming a "father".

　　In June 2008, Ju Zhiqin and Dean Tang and his party sent Feng Xuemei, Feng Xiaoyan and Feng Bangwu to Chongqing, and the two sisters started a new study career in Jiulongpo.

　　This year, Feng Xuemei is 22 years old and Feng Xiaoyan is 20 years old. In 10 years, they have changed from little girls to big girls.

　　Feng Xuemei is more cheerful. She said that she "talks more". She majored in urban rail transit control. She hasn’t graduated yet, and she will work part-time around the school whenever she has time. Sister Feng Xiaoyan is quieter. She has already obtained a nurse’s practice certificate, and it is "one time".

　　The place where a family of three got together is a two-bedroom and one-bedroom house located in Shipingqiao, which was provided by Hang Seng Hand Surgery Hospital. In the past 10 years, they have not received any rent. The house is not big, but it is enough for father and daughter to live in — — The two sisters live in one room, divided into bunk beds. Xuemei likes comics, and there are many posters of comics in the room.

　　There are many things in the living room and bedroom, but they are clean. When Feng Bangwu is a security guard, he also collects waste products near the hospital. He will move back the tables, chairs and benches that can still be used. In recent years, the conditions at home are more comfortable and new furniture has been added. However, except for rest days, the family rarely "leaves the house (goes home)" and works outside when they have time.

　　"I have grown so big and accepted the love of too many people, but I still want to repay the society." Feng Xuemei said that her major was to find a job. Feng Xiaoyan, too, wants to be self-reliant and self-reliant faster.

　　Ten years ago, our reporter Ju Zhiqin and Feng Chao met Feng Bangwu’s family in Pingwu County, Sichuan Province. 　　In an interview, Ju Zhiqin told Tang Qing, president of Hang Seng Hand Surgery Hospital, the story of the Feng family of three. Tang Qing immediately decided to come forward by the hospital and take the family to Chongqing. With the help of Tang Qing and many good people, Feng Bangwu got a job, a family of three had a fixed residence, two daughters grew up gradually, and there was also a "Tang Dad".

　　Feng Bangwu said that the help of caring people for 10 years has made their family feel particularly grateful. They have nothing to repay and keep everything in mind. In the past 10 years, there were problems in life, enrollment and hukou, and three dads took the lead to solve the problem together.

　　For example, when they first arrived in Chongqing, the two children didn’t have registered permanent residence. Three people went to see the then leaders of Jiulongpo District with letters of introduction. After explaining the situation, the district leaders immediately gave instructions to solve the children’s enrollment problem.

　　In 2012, through efforts, the hospital moved the hukou of two children to Chongqing, and the two sisters officially became Chongqing people.

　　On May 12, 2008, whenever I recall this day, Feng Bangwu can express it normally at first, then he starts to sob, and finally, like his two daughters, he only hides his face and cries.

　　Feng Bangwu was a miner at that time. On the afternoon of the earthquake, all the workers went down the well. He decided to smoke a cigarette first to relieve his fatigue. Before a cigarette was finished, I heard the sound of rolling stones, the noise was getting louder and louder, and the mine began to deform. Feng Bangwu initially wanted to save people, but he was too busy at the back.

　　After escaping, the first thing that Feng Bangwu thought of was to go home. At this time, there was no way to go, so he had to search everywhere. He found his wife in the field near his home. "There was a big hole in his head and he was already dead."

　　The only people left don’t know where to go or what to do. Later, I learned that Hongqi Village, Nanba Town, Pingwu County, Sichuan Province, where Feng Bangwu was located, was razed to the ground in the earthquake.

　　Feng Bangwu was in a panic, and he didn’t have time to bury his dead wife. He hurried to school until he heard the child crying, and his heart was "a stone fell to the ground".

　　A few days after the earthquake, Feng Bangwu took Feng Xuemei and Feng Xiaoyan and left Hongqi Village, which was full of ruins, to follow the people affected by the disaster.

　　At a pass by the river dam, they built a shack with banana leaves and sticks and lived for several days and nights.

　　On the evening of May 16th, Feng Xuemei found some Chinese textbooks in the ruins. Before the earthquake, she was in the sixth grade, and her grades were ok. She liked Chinese very much. After returning to the shack, "I feel that there is nothing to do." She opened what she had learned before the earthquake and recited it softly.

　　Click, click, the shutter sound and white flash from outside the tent startled Feng Xuemei. "Little sister, don’t be afraid. I’m a reporter. Go on reading." Feng Xuemei had never seen a camera and didn’t know what that white light was for (at that time, she didn’t even see an electric fan). She just thought it was amazing and didn’t know what Uncle Reporter was doing.

　　At that time, it was the third day that our reporters Ju Zhiqin and Feng Chao arrived in the disaster area. "It was really shocking and touching to hear the sound of reading for the first time." The two left all the money on their bodies and rushed back to Mianyang for publication overnight. Halfway through, the two found instant noodles, mineral water, bananas, etc. in the trunk, and patted their heads. "What’s the use of money? These are the most important things!" I drove back and distributed all these materials to the victims.

　　The reporter’s return made everyone very excited, and Feng Xuemei and Feng Xiaoyan were also shocked. They were in a mountain village and had never even seen bananas. These days, they all lived by baking potatoes. Ju Zhiqin made them "feel particularly kind and safe". Before leaving, Ju Zhiqin left a business card for the two little girls: "You can contact me when you encounter difficulties in the future."

　　When he came back, Ju Zhiqin had been thinking about how to help the little sisters and had a preliminary plan.

　　Pingwu County is located 300 kilometers north of Chengdu, and many places are blocked by highways. Ju Zhiqin and the staff of Hang Seng Hand Surgery Hospital and their party drove the best car in the hospital to Nanba Town and took their sisters to Chongqing.

　　Feng Bangwu works as a security guard in Hang Seng Hand Surgery Hospital. He doesn’t talk much, and his work is very practical. He won the title of advanced worker for three consecutive years, and now he is saving money to buy a house.

　　The hospital provides tuition and living allowance for Feng Xuemei and Feng Xiaoyan, and can also go to the hospital for free lunch every day. "If you promise to take care of (sister flowers) to become adults and talents, you must do it to the end!" Tang Qing, dean of the hospital, said.

　　In the past 10 years, Tang Qing and Feng Jiasan were more like relatives. On holidays, Tang Qing will call relatives’ children, have dinner with the two sisters and send a red envelope. "In my heart, I have regarded them (sister flowers) as my own dolls."
