From now on, the first three pilot markets of "cheap food stalls" will be opened in the farmers’ market: Garden, Diligence and Feilong.
In order to do a good job in ensuring the price and stable supply of agricultural and sideline products such as vegetables in the farmer’s market before the Spring Festival, to promote the overall price of vegetables in the farmer’s market to maintain a level close to the people, and to effectively protect the basic livelihood of low-income groups and special groups, our city has learned from the experience and practice of the construction of "parity food stalls" in Suzhou gusu district farmer’s market and carried out the construction of "parity food stalls" in the farmer’s market. As a pioneer in the construction of "cheap food stalls" in the city, the first three markets in Zhonglou District were piloted on the 19th.
It is reported that according to the relevant requirements of Jiangsu Province’s "Implementation Opinions on Developing the Construction of Fair Price Food Stalls in Urban Farmers’ Markets" (draft for comments), the number of farmers’ markets with "Fair Price Food Stalls" in Zhonglou District will be no less than 50% of the total number of regional farmers’ markets in 2022. As pilot farmers’ markets, the Garden Farmers’ Market, Qinye Farmers’ Market and Feilong Farmers’ Market in Zhonglou District took the lead in opening "cheap food stalls" on the 19th, and all the publicity and signs were put in place.
"Cheap food stalls" supply two kinds of "one-yuan dishes" and "cheap dishes". "One-yuan dishes" refer to ordinary vegetables (one or two varieties per day) whose sales price does not exceed 500 grams of 1 yuan, focusing on ensuring the basic living needs of the more difficult groups; "Cheap food" refers to vegetables (3 to 5 varieties per day) whose sales price is 20% or more lower than the market guidance price of the day, or other agricultural and sideline products such as meat, eggs, grain and oil whose sales price is 5% or more lower than the market guidance price of the day. The sales time of "one-yuan dish" and "cheap dish" shall not be less than 3 hours every day, so as to ensure the supply, freshness and quality, and the varieties supplied shall be inspected and qualified before being put on the shelves for sale.
Set up a "fair price food stall" signboard at the entrance of the vegetable market to publicize the stall number, fair price variety, price, sales time and supply of the "fair price food stall" in the market on that day, and take the initiative to accept social supervision; Parity signs are hung in the market, and the supplied parity varieties should be clearly marked. The departments of commerce, municipal supervision, development and reform, and finance will strengthen the management and assessment of the construction of "cheap food stalls" according to their respective responsibilities.
